OK. I know....That's not a good prayer - asking that your daughter's very important soccer game gets rained out. Hmmm...but it was, and it feels s-o-o-o good.
Fine. I love watching my girl play. However, sometimes parents want a night off. Soccer three times a week. School awards ceremony tomorrow. This meeting and that meeting.... so on and so forth.
When you have four school-age kids (My 5th and oldest is in college), knowing you have a night off is a prayer answered. Makes me want to tell the kids to pull out the hot dogs from the freezer and mac n cheese from the pantry and let them make their own dinner. Psst...guess what... They consider it a treat.
Double bonus... I can keep going on my latest Netflix marathon!... Or, sit at the computer and blog about how stoked I am. Yes, I'm easily pleased. Wait....Does YouTube still have my daughter's soccer videos. Yep! The memories.
